| Hi- I hope everyone is having a great summer! I wanted to check in with a quick update and tell you about a new way to help our friends at the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center in August. It was hard to miss the last weekend of the USF Pro Championship in Toronto. I watched from afar (and made good use of my time by coaching at a kart event in the Charlotte area) and cheered for my Turn 3 Motorsport teammates. It was great to see Michael D’Orlando get a win up north! Congratulations to him and the entire team! We are working hard to get back on track soon. The next event is at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, August 25-27. Currently, we are a little short of the budget required to run that event, but have a couple of opportunities working to get me back on track while also working on our 2024 plans. The good news is that over the past few weeks, I had the opportunity to rest my wrist and recover from the injury I sustained at the July 4th weekend event at Mid-Ohio. I have made big improvements and am almost back to 100%. I should be good to go by the next event if we can put the final funding together. So, stay tuned- we’ll let everyone know soon how things are looking for COTA and beyond. We are looking at the final two events as preparation for 2024 and a chance to compete for podiums and wins. In the meantime, I wanted to share a new opportunity to give back to our friends from the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center. This effort will support the innovative and much-needed research being conducted by over 300 IU researchers. Plus, the steaks at PRIME 47 are the absolute best in Indianapolis. They go great with my favorite side, the lobster mac and cheese!
